dr inż. Paweł Słomiński
Board Member for Commercial and Technical Affairs
Since 2015, Paweł has been a Board Member and owner of Efengaz Sp. z o.o. He brings 18 years of prior experience gained at PGNiG S.A., where he worked in the distribution segment and managed areas such as gas balancing and sales, distribution services, metering systems, data readings, tariffs, development, and investments. Paweł is the creator of commercial balancing algorithms and co-author of the gas supplier switching procedure at Polska Spółka Gazownictwa. The solutions he developed helped remove key barriers to opening the gas market in the distribution sector in Poland.
Paweł holds a PhD in Technical Sciences in the field of Electronics, with a specialization in Measurement and Diagnostic Systems. The degree was awarded by the Faculty Council of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology. His doctoral dissertation was titled “Analysis of Losses in Gas Distribution Systems.”

Maciej Markowski

Since 2015, Maciej has been a Board Member and co-owner of Efengaz Sp. z o.o. He holds an Executive MBA from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM). He is an energy and gas market expert in the areas of trading and distribution, specializing in financial modeling, commercial risk management, as well as tariff and regulatory matters. His experience spans both domestic and international energy corporations, as well as Polish capital-based energy companies. In the early years of his career, Maciej worked as a consultant for some of the most renowned international advisory firms. He actively participates in regulatory consultations and policy-shaping processes concerning the Polish gas and energy markets and related sectors. He is an active member of the Polish Electricity Trading Association (Towarzystwo Obrotu Energią) and the Chamber of Industrial Energy and Energy Consumers (Izba Energetyki Przemysłowej i Odbiorców Energii).
